Depending on the song request. I try to work it in within the next song or two. If it's a song that will change the whole vibe of the room I channel the crowd to that song within the next 5 songs.

I like having the client give me information on who are the type of guests are coming, if the client strictly wants me to play music just for them, I like having them sending 10-20 songs they like and then curate a playlist from that.
